first day back

Although it came a few days earlier than expected, I was all geared up. Determined. Renewed vigour. Whatever you call it. Arrived bright and early and I was all set for my first lesson. I was greeted by "YOU'RE BACK!", "Eh. Can irritate you again!!" and the best one was, "TEACHERR. We missed you!!!!!". A lot of screaming and jumping and I wish I could do more than just beam at them. Honestly, if I could, I would have hugged them all there and then.

The day went great. I was equipped with something I've never felt in a long, long while. Inner peace. Yesterday was a real eye-opener. I really really thought about it. I remembered. I analyzed. I looked beyond. Too many things I overlooked. Too many times I selfishly demanded for more. I'll prove my worth.

Anyway, never mind that my toes hurt and I lost my voice, (read: sick since last Sunday. hur) I had a good day and I am looking forward to the rest of the days!
