I've always wondered how different people deal with anger.
Let me share with you how I deal with it.
I get angry fast but I melt even faster. To get through me, you really have to push the right buttons because I respond differently to different people. But one thing for sure, I don't see how people can be angry for soooo long. Especially over small, petty things. Anger will usually lead to quarrels. Quarrelling is one thing I really abhor doing now. You tend to say things you don't mean when you're angry and it sucks not being able to control your anger. I like to be in control, you know? HAHA. Actually no, not really. HAHAHAHA. Most of the time, you don't realise your words can actually hurt the other party. Once you realised what you've said, it's too late. Damage has been done. There are worst cases when there are some who don't realise the things they are lashing out are hurtful and there are others who know but they just don't bother apologizing. What is up with that!?
Right. But when I'm really really angry, I cry. I'll feel better after that and the anger dissipates. I don't hold grudges. Life's too short, you know? You never know when you might slip and fall or collapse and die. I'm neither a pessimist nor a drama queen, just a realist.
