Never Ever

Today has been a really bad day.

I woke up with a throbbing headache and it did not help that it was scorching hot in the early afternoon. When I reached school, I quickly grabbed lunch and hoped the headache will subside. It did not. Everytime I coughed, my head hurt like mad. Everytime I spoke two tones higher than usual, I felt my head spinning. My voice was croaky and I could not do much in class. Left them to make cards while I completely zonked out. Oblivious to the noise, I counted the hours in my head, willing the day to fly by.

Things you said today keep ringing in my head. Things I should not have done. Things I should have known.

It's gonna be a long night.
