There are many reasons why I love watching Gilmore Girls. Lorelai & Rory's relationship is one of them. Their mother-daughter bond is awesome.

A mom who understands that there are times when her child will err but who trusts that she will get back up on her feet no matter how long it takes. A mom who will let her child make her own choices because she believes that will allow the development of a personality that's solely the child's. A mom who never compares. A mom who embraces every aspect of her child. A mom who will always be there through the good and the bad times. A mom who does not turn cold when her child refuses to give in to her demands. A mom who respects her child enough to actually have faith and trust in everything she does. A mom who appreciates every effort put in by her child. A mom who listens and one who never make quick judgments. A mom who wants her child to be happy. A mom who sees the special something in her child and uses this to trust.

Every daughter wants her mother to be her ultimate best friend.
