soon to be sweet memories

when i think bout it, it's kinda sad to leave the kids behind as we've bonded so well these past few months. especially the p1s. can you imagine when they're taking their psle i'll be 25?! crap. what i'm gonna miss will be their constant complaints & whinings & mispronounciated words. i will always remember what a boy said 2 weeks ago.

"what do yall want for children's day?"

"teacher! i want ice box!"

which meant x box la. in case you're too dumb to realise that.

but it was kinda enriching in the sense that i've gained much experience. and it's valuable beyond words. many a time i wanna shout at them to get the hell out of the classroom but when they look at me with their pitiful faces & their promises to do better next time, me being the softie that i am, melt.

what's sad is that i might never see them again & not able to know how they are getting on in their lives. i promise i'll post pics of them this weekend. and i'll show you my favourites. heh.

so future teachers, you will soon know how sweet the feeling of being able to teach to a bunch of wonderful kids is.
