If you ask me what kinda books I read, it is NOT romance novels. Everytime I visit Borders or Kino, I'll head straight to the Literature section, followed by Philosophy & then, Psychology.

It is not that I have an intense dislike for romance novels. It's just that I want to read something of substance, not something that I can predict the ending halfway into the story. That is boring, I tell you.

Also, I am VERY particular about how my books are read. If you should ever read my book, please do not crease the spine. The sight of that crease always makes me cringe inside. That is not the way to treat a book. Didn't you ever read the stamp they used for library books? 'Please be gentle with me. I am only a book.' Pity they did away with that stamp.

So yes, I am extremely selfish when it comes to my books. If you're not particularly close to me & if I know I cannot trust you with my book, to hell with your idea of borrowing MY book.
