i fell asleep with a burning fever. woke up in the middle of the night to wee wee. drank hot water. fell asleep. woke up at 5am again. couldn't sleep till 7am. gave up a few hours later. miraculously, the fever's gone when i finally got up.

i've got a feeling that the fever was brought on by the fact that i was traumatised. yesterday, as we were walking along orchard road, a branch dropped to the ground and snapped into pieces right in front of us. the tall trees. the impact. damn fortunate that no one was walking at the particular spot.

i'm not gonna step into town till next week. eeks.
