am halfway through 'Dinner for Two' by Mike Gayle. it is sucha good read. and i thought orchard library is running out of good books. i lugged 7 books home again today. did i mention that i finished reading 7 books during the weekend? i'm a supergirl when it comes to reading good books.

i love to read. what can i say?

however, i've never understood bestie's way of picking out books for herself. she will always scan the last few pages first. if the book has promise of a happy ending, she'll borrow it. if not, back to the shelf it goes.

where's the joy in that, my love?

my dad left for Libya. i spent a good half an hour in bed, sulking. i didn't want him to go. although i'm turning 20 in 24 days, i am still daddy's lil' girl.

i like the feeling though. the joy of being an only child. it is overwhelming sometimes.
